The design of a fully superconducting wind power generator is influenced by several factors. Among them, low number pole pairs desirable to achieve AC losses in the stator winding, which greatly influences cooling system and, consecutively, efficiency entire plant. However, it has been identified that tends increase its output voltage, turn creates challenging conditions for necessary electronic converter.
